Would you like a respondent to automatically receive a confirmation email once the questionnaire is finished? Evalandgo does not offer this option natively, but you can set it up easily thanks to automation connectors (Zapier, Make, n8n, and more). Here is how.
Feature available only for customers with a PRO+ subscription.
What you need before you start
- A questionnaire that collects the respondent's email address (for example through an email field in a Multi-field form). Without an address, the automation has no one to write to.
- A PRO+ subscription.
- An Evalandgo API key, generated from the Connectors page.
- An account on an automation tool (Zapier, Make, n8n, and so on).
Set up the automatic sending (example with Zapier)
- In Evalandgo, open the Connectors > Zapier page and connect your Zapier account.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap.
- Trigger: choose "New Questionnaire Completed (Evalandgo)". Connect your Evalandgo account with your API key. The questionnaire is selected via its ID, then click Test to check that the data comes through.
- Action: choose "Send Email" (Gmail, Brevo, or another sending tool).
- In the "To" field, click the + button and select the respondent's email information.
- Write the subject and the body of the message. You can insert the respondent's answers directly into the body of the email.
- Test the step, then publish the Zap.
Result: every completed questionnaire automatically triggers a confirmation email to the respondent's address.
Good to know: your questionnaire's ID is visible in the questionnaire's sharing URL.
Good to know: the same logic works with Make, n8n, or any other automation tool. Only the interface changes, the principle stays the same: a "questionnaire completed" trigger, then a "send an email" action.
