How do I add a title at the top of a questionnaire page?

Organizing your questionnaire into clear sections helps your respondents find their way and makes your survey nicer to go through. To display a title or a subtitle at the top of a page, you use a text block, which you can place wherever you like on the page.

Add a page title in a few clicks

  1. In the Creation module, open the page where you want to add a title.
  2. In the element menu (the Question menu), click the blue "Text/Image" button.
  3. Type the text of your title or subtitle.
  4. Style it with the rich text editor: size, style, color, font, and more.
  5. Place the block right at the top of the page. You can move it by drag and drop to position it exactly where you want.

Repeat on each page to structure the different parts of your survey.

NotesGood to know: the text block is purely visual. It is shown to the respondent but does not ask for any answer, which makes it perfect for a title, an instruction, or a transition between two sections.

InfoGood to know: the order of elements is set by drag and drop. For a title to act as a real header, remember to move it above the first question on the page.

IdeaGood to know: on a free account, questions and content blocks count together toward the limit of 10 elements per questionnaire. A title you add therefore counts as one element.
