How to take a screenshot?

When you report a technical problem, ascreenshot or videoIt can significantly help us understand the situation and respond to you faster. Here's how to take a screenshot from your device and how to pass it on to us.

Why provide a screenshot?

A picture is worth a thousand words. A screenshot allows our support team to:

Quickly identify the anomaly,
View the content to be modified,
Understand the technical context(browser, URL, display, etc.).

Advice: Consider capturingYour entire browser window, including the address bar unless otherwise stated by your advisor.

How to take a screenshot according to your device

On Windows

1. Press the keysWindows + Impr. Screen (or Imp. Ecr.)

2. The screen captures automatically (no messages are displayed)

3. The image is saved in Images > Screenshots

If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can also use theScreenshot tool:Start Menu > Accessories > Screenshot tool

on macOS

1. Press on ⌘ + Shift + 4Then select the area to capture

2. The image is saved automatically to the desktop as a .png file

Note : If you are using Mac OS 9.x or earlier, use the combination ⌘ + Shift + 3

From Chromebook

1. Press on Ctrl + Shift + Window change (or Ctrl + Shift + F5)

2. Select the area with the cursor

3. The image is saved in the bib Downloads for free

Screenshots on mobile

On iPhone or iPad

1. Press simultaneously press Watch + Volume + (or Watch + Welcome for older models)

2. The screen flashes: the capture is saved in the app Photos

3. For a video, enable the featureScreen recording through Control Center (see Apple Documentation)

On Android

1. Press the buttons simultaneouslyPower supply + Low volume

2. A visual effect confirms the capture, available via the Notification bar or in your gallery

3. On some models, a "Screenshot" option is offered after pressing the power button

4. For video, Android 11 (and later) offers built-in screen recording

How do I send us your screenshot or recording?

Via the cat

1. Click on the icon📎 At the bottom right of the cat window

2. Select your file (by .jpeg,.png,.gif,.pdf,.txt)

3. Click onOpento send the capture to your advisor

By ticket (e-mail)

1. Open your conversation by email or reply to the message received

2.Add your image or video as an attachment (Do not incorporate it into the body of the email)

3. Enter the ticket number #Xxxxxx If you have one
