How do I add a video or audio to a Live session?

Want to energize your Live sessions with multimedia content? The video/audio element lets you play a YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion video during your live presentation. A great way to grab your participants' attention in seconds!
Why play a video during your Live session?
A well-placed video brings your presentation to life: session kick-off, illustrating a training concept, a fun break between two quizzes... The video/audio element fits into your Live mode just like any other content. The video is available on both sides: on the screen projected by the presenter and on each participant's phone.
Add the video/audio element in 4 steps
- Open your Live questionnaire in the editor.
- Add a "video/audio" element wherever you want in your session.
- Paste your video URL in the configuration interface. Three platforms are supported: YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion.
- Save: your video is ready to be played during the session.
What happens during the session
When you reach the video/audio element during your presentation:
- Presenter side: the video starts automatically with sound on, on the projected screen. You can mute it at any time.
- Participant side: each participant can play the video on their own phone, with sound on by default and the option to mute it.
Good to know Unlisted or private videos hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion also work. Handy if your content should not be publicly visible!Good to know Have a video that is not online yet and that you do not want to make public? Upload it to one of these three platforms as private or unlisted, then use its link in your video/audio element.Related articles
